Soft Machines
The journal Science recently published work by scientists at Harvard University involving soft-body robots that can change color. Although the movement of the robots still seems somewhat awkward, there is a lot of potential for these robots, both due to their flexible structure and the possibility of using their coloration characteristics for new modes of camouflage and display.
